How do students and teachers record and submit Show-and-Tell videos on Qweebi?

Written by Aman Bansal

Students and teachers can record a short Show-and-Tell video in the Makerspace to explain their creation. The recording and submission process is the same for both.

What happens after submission depends on the account being used. Videos submitted by students enrolled in a class appear in the Teacher Dashboard. Videos recorded using a teacher account do not appear in the Teacher Dashboard, but they remain available through Show & Tell in the Makerspace.

đŸŽ„ Option 1: Watch the walkthrough recording

If you or your students are working on a different project, choose the relevant walkthrough:

  1. Roller Coaster Project – link here

  2. Mars Rover Project – link here

  3. Farm Robotics Project – link here

📘 Option 2: Follow the step-by-step instructions

Students and teachers follow the same steps to record and submit a Show-and-Tell video.

1. Go to Show & Tell

Open the relevant project and challenge in the Makerspace. Click Show & Tell, then Record a video.

2. Allow camera and microphone access

If this is your first time recording, your browser will ask for permission to use your camera and microphone. Click Allow while visiting the site.

3. Choose recording settings

Choose whether to turn your camera and microphone on or off.

When you’re ready, click Start Recording.

4. Record your video

Everything you say or show will now be recorded. You can explain:

  • What you built

  • How it works

  • What you learned

5. Stop and preview

When you’re finished, click Stop Recording and watch the preview.

6. Name and submit the video

If you’re happy with the recording:

  1. Enter a video title

  2. Click Submit

What happens next depends on the account you’re using:

  • Student account: If the student is enrolled in a class, the video is sent to the Teacher Dashboard under My Classes → Class Name → Submissions for review and feedback.

  • Teacher account: The video is not sent to the Teacher Dashboard because teacher accounts aren’t associated with a class. To view the recording again, return to the relevant project and challenge in the Makerspace and open Show & Tell.

If you’re not satisfied with the recording, you can record it again.

7. Rewatch or record again

After submitting, students and teachers can return to Show & Tell anytime to:

  • Rewatch the recording

  • Record a new video

That’s it!

Students and teachers are now ready to record and submit their Show-and-Tell videos.
