How do I distribute student usernames?

Tips for sharing student usernames before starting the project.

Most teachers use a simple, memorable rule for usernames — like a student’s first name, last name, or student ID — and share that rule with students through LMS (like Google Classroom or Schoology), along with the class link to log in.

👉 Here's what you can do:

  • Choose a consistent naming rule when creating usernames

  • Share the rule and class link in your LMS post

  • Students will know exactly what username to enter when it’s time to begin

Example from a real classroom

Below is a real example of how a teacher posts the Qweebi Class Login link inside their LMS and clearly explains the username format for students.

Note: At the moment, there isn’t an option to print student usernames directly from Qweebi. We recommend sharing the username format digitally through your LMS or another classroom communication tool.
