Create a Class
To create a class, go to My Classes and click + Add New Class.
You can either import an existing class from Google Classroom, Clever, or ClassLink, or create a new class manually.
Option 1: Import a class from a platform
If your class already exists in Google Classroom, Clever, or ClassLink, you can import the class and student roster directly into Qweebi.
Choose the platform you'd like to import from:
Google Classroom: How to import Google Classroom classes into Qweebi
ClassLink: How to import ClassLink classes into Qweebi
Your imported class will automatically include the students in your roster.
Option 2: Create one or multiple classes manually
On the Add a New Class popup, select Create a New Class.
By default, One class is selected.
To create one class
Enter the class name
Select the grade
Click Add Class
To create multiple classes at once
Click the Multiple classes tab
Enter the class name and grade for each row
Click Add Classes
Add students to your class
How students are added depends on whether you created the class manually or imported it from an external platform.
If you created the class manually
You can add students in three ways.
Option 1: Add one student
Best for adding a student quickly.
Go to your class and open the Students tab
Click Add Students
By default, One student is selected
Enter the student's name and username
Real names are not required
The username is how the student logs in
Each username must be unique within the class
Click Add Student
The student will appear immediately in the Students list.
Option 2: Add multiple students
Best for adding a small group of students quickly.
Go to your class and open the Students tab
Click Add Students
Select Multiple students
Enter student names and usernames for each row
Real names are not required
Each username must be unique within the class
Click Add Students
All students will be added to the class at once.
Option 3: Upload students using a CSV file
Best for adding many students at once.
Go to your class and open the Students tab
Click Add Students
Select Upload CSV
Click View CSV template and instructions
Download the CSV template
Enter student names and usernames in the template
Keep the column headers exactly as shown
Each username must be unique within the class
Save the file as a CSV
Return to the Upload CSV tab
Upload the file and click Add Students
If you imported your class from an external platform
If your class was imported from Google Classroom, Clever, or ClassLink, your student roster comes directly from that platform.
You cannot manually add or remove students from an imported class inside Qweebi.
To make changes to your roster, add or remove students in the platform your class was imported from, then sync your class in Qweebi.
For platform-specific instructions, see the relevant import article:
Google Classroom: How to import Google Classroom classes into Qweebi
ClassLink: How to import ClassLink classes into Qweebi
Share login instructions with students
How students log in depends on how your class was created or imported.
If you created your class manually
Students log in using the class code and username you created for them.
To share their login instructions:
Open your class
Click Share Login Instructions
Copy the instructions in the prompt
Share the instructions with students using your preferred LMS
Each student will also need their individual username. See How do I distribute student usernames? for ways to share usernames digitally or print student login cards.
If you imported your class from an external platform
Students do not need a Qweebi class code or username.
They sign in using the platform their class was imported from:
Google Classroom: Students sign in with their school Google account
Clever: Students sign in through Clever
ClassLink: Students sign in through their school's ClassLink LaunchPad
For complete student login instructions, see How students log in to Qweebi.

That's it! Your class is set up and your students are ready to start using Qweebi.
