How to Add Qweebi as a Trusted App in Google Workspace for Education

Steps for IT admins to enable Google sign-in for Qweebi.

Step 1: Sign in to the Google Admin Console

  1. Log in with your Google Workspace for Education administrator account.

Step 2: Go to API Controls

  1. In the Admin Console sidebar, click SecurityAccess and data controlAPI controls.

  2. Scroll down to App access control and click Manage App Access (sometimes shown as Manage Third-Party App Access).

Step 3: Find Qweebi in the App Directory

  1. In the Configured apps view, click Configure new app and search for Qweebi.

  2. From the results, select the app Qweebi Makerspace – Virtual Learning Machines Pvt Ltd that shows “Number of organizations using app: Medium (50–100).”

    • This is the primary Qweebi Client ID required for student sign-ins.

Step 4: Configure Access for Qweebi

  1. After selecting the app, review the requested scopes and click Continue.

  2. On the Access to Google Data screen, choose Trusted, then click Continue and Finish.

    Note: Ignore the “Exempt from Context-Aware Access” option — just leave it unchecked.

Step 5: Confirm

  • Qweebi should now appear in your Configured apps list as Trusted.

  • Students will be able to log in with their Google accounts without errors.
